About CCPRD

About Us

Crook County Parks and Recreation District; a Special District associated with the Special Districts Association of Oregon, is located in Prineville, Oregon and serves all of Crook County. Although we are a government agency, we are not governed by Crook County or the City of Prineville. As a Special District, CCPRD has an elected Board of Directors that serve as the governing body for the organization.

Crook County Parks and Recreation District maintains 13 parks and coordinates dozens of indoor and outdoor recreation programs throughout the year. Many of these activities take place in parks and facilities managed by the District; an area totaling more than 100 acres of land.

Parks and Fields

For outdoor gatherings, private parties may use park areas provided reservations are made in advance. Our Parks & Fields section will assist you in selecting a park for your next event as well as provide you with general park descriptions and addresses. You can also view our real time availability calendar to see if the date you would like is available.
