This is determined from your address. In-District residents are those who reside within the Parks and Recreation Tax Boundary. If a small portion of your property taxes goes to Parks and Recreation, then you are considered In-District.
The pool opens the last day of school and closes the Friday before Labor Day weekend. The summer pool season opens annually with a low cost swim and social event in the afternoon on the last day of school.
The roller skating rink is only open during the school year; from September through mid-June.
Park reservations for the current year may be made in person at any time after January 2. For the reservation to be complete, a signed registration form must be on file and all applicable fees paid in full.

Contact the Parks office at (541) 447-1209 and we will happily forward the information packet and application to you. We always welcome new volunteer hosts as well as returning volunteer hosts.
Programs are mailed out to local area patrons tri-annually. Summer, Fall/Winter and Winter/Spring programs are always available from the Parks office as each season approaches, and you can always pick one up from the blue box on the front porch when we're closed.
We advertise for teen summer parks crew in March, and will interview during Spring Break. Watch for the advertisement in the Central Oregonian, or come by the office and pick up an application anytime in late February or early March. You must be at least 15 years old.
Watch for an advertisement for lifeguards or water safety instructors in the Central Oregonian anytime after March 1.
We take applications for employment at the skating rink through out the year. You must be at least 14 years old to apply, and applications are available at the Parks office, 398 NE Fairview.
CCPRD keeps an eye on the portion of the creek that runs through our parks. Ochoco Irrigation is the main contact.
Typically, Ochoco Campground is open seasonally from April 1 through approximately October 31, and is a non-reservation campground.
The gate is unlocked unless low water levels make it unsafe to use.
