General Information

This five-acre, 81 space RV Park is located just one and a half miles south of Prineville on Highway 27, at 1040 S Main Street. Just across the road from the Crooked River and Rimrock Park, the RV Park is adjacent to Crook County Fairgrounds.

The park features full service hook-ups, ADA accessible restrooms and showers, a barbecue area, nine tenting sites, and two log cabins for overnight rental. Spaces have 50 or 30 amp receptacles and pull-throughs for RVs up to 70 feet long. Pets are always welcome and there is a designated pet area.

The RV Park is open year round, and an RV space may be rented by the day, week or month. Check out time is 1:00 p.m. and check in time is 2:00 p.m. daily. For non-registered guests, there is a separate RV dump that may be used for $5. RVers are always welcome to potable water from the RV Park and is available throughout the year. Potable water is free with an RV dump, or is $4 if needed separately.

Firearm Safety/Concealed Handgun Certification

This is a lecture and instructor demonstration course that meets the specific requirements one needs to obtain both the Oregon and Utah concealed handgun permits. This is NO gun handling by any of the students. Subject areas include: firearms safety, firearms maintenance, home safety considerations, legal considerations (State and Federal) and use of force limitations.

Take part in a great opportunity to garden and learn from neighbors. Fee covers access, water, and a selection of tools. Small plots are 10’x12’, large plots are 20’x12’. Applications available at the District office or online. First come, first serve. Only 23 plots available. Open to all ages, groups, and organizations. All experience levels encouraged.

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Crook County Parks and Recreation District, Crook County Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017 will be held on the 27th and if necessary the 28th day of April 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the Juniper Art Guild on Mt. View Drive. The purpose of the meeting(s) is to receive the budget message and document of the District. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.
