Firearm safety and concealed handgun permit class. This course emphasizes safe gun handling, storage, and selection in practical real-world ways.

Firearm safety and concealed handgun permit class. This course emphasizes safe gun handling, storage, and selection in practical real-world ways. The course also covers legal considerations related to firearm ownership. Upon completion of the course, students will be eligible to apply for both Oregon and Utah concealed firearm permits, which allows them to lawfully carry a firearm in 35 states.

Courses will be held in-person at the Juniper Art Guild.

An Oregon and Utah CHL is currently valid in:
Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
