Term 2019 - 2023
I moved to Prineville in 2012 and recently retired from 35 years of working for the US Forest Service & Bureau of Land Management. Because of the wide variety of place I have worked, I have a good understanding of the pressures and needs of managing land to provide a wide variety of recreational experiences. Prineville is truly blessed with a wonderful park system that I believe is an incredible asset to our community.
I am an avid gardener, walker, a compulsive litter picker, and advocate for making our Parks more age friendly - especially meeting the needs of our seniors and disabled residents. I take my 89 year old disabled mother to the Madras Aquatic Center to help her strengthen her legs and have seen what a benefit a year round warm therapy swimming pool could be to our community in helping seniors, people recovering from injury or illness, disabled individuals to live stronger, healthier lives.
