Join Crook County Parks & Rec for the 24th Annual Trout Fishing Derby and a great morning of competition. Fishing is open to anglers of all ages, with fishing from either the shoreline or from a boat. Anglers are responsible for knowing the current 2023 fishing regulations applicable to Haystack Reservoir. This is a great event for all ages!

Bring your own fishing gear. Donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate will be provided for anglers.

Prizes will be given out for the following categories:

Heaviest total trout weight (stringer of 5)
Heaviest individual trout weight
Longest trout
Heaviest non-trout
Longest non-trout
