Prineville Hoops

We’re excited to announce that Prineville Hoops is officially a Jr. NBA/WNBA League!

​

As part of Jr. NBA/WNBA Leagues, Prineville Hoops players will have the opportunity to represent NBA and WNBA teams throughout the season! This is an exciting addition to our program, especially for our girls leagues, which can now take the court representing WNBA teams, including the new Portland Fire!
 

Prineville Hoops is focused on creating a fun, positive environment where young athletes can learn the game, build confidence, and develop fundamental basketball skills including dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
 

All players will receive a game jersey and shooting shirt with registration.

Volunteer coaches are needed and greatly appreciated! Official Jr Leagues rulebook and coaching resources will be provided.
 

4th & 5th Grade

Registration: August 3 – September 28, 2026
Practices Begin: Week of October 26
Games Begin: Week of November 2
Season Ends: December 19, 2026
 

Separate boys and girls teams will be formed. Teams will have the opportunity to represent NBA or WNBA teams this season through our new Jr. NBA/WNBA Leagues affiliation.

Coaches will reach out to families at the end of October. Coaches determine their team's practice days and times.

​

Games are planned for Saturdays. Depending on final registration numbers and the number of teams formed, some games may be scheduled on weekdays.
 

Kindergarten – 3rd Grade

Registration: October 5 – November 30, 2026
Practices Begin: Week of January 4
Games Begin: Week of January 11
Season Ends: February 27, 2027

K–3 is a coed league. Teams will have the opportunity to represent NBA or WNBA teams this season through our Jr. NBA/WNBA Leagues affiliation.

Coaches will reach out to families at the end of December or during the first week of January. Coaches determine their team's practice days and times.

​

Games are planned for Saturdays. Depending on final registration numbers and the number of teams formed, some games may be scheduled on weekdays.

​

The season is currently planned to take place at Ochoco Gym. Depending on registration numbers and the number of teams, additional school district facilities may also be utilized.
