Shoot, Dribble & Pass

CCPRD’s Shoot, Dribble & Pass is a FREE basketball skills competition for boys and girls in kindergarten through 5th grade!

Participants will test their shooting accuracy, dribbling speed and passing precision through three individual challenges. Scores from all three challenges will be combined to determine the winner of each division.

Cost: FREE
Check-in will begin at 9:30 a.m. The competition will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m.
The event is expected to conclude by approximately 2:00 p.m., depending on participation.

Divisions

Boys and girls will compete in separate divisions:

Kindergarten–1st Grade
2nd–3rd Grade
4th–5th Grade

The Challenges

Shoot: Participants will take five shots. Points are awarded for hitting the backboard, rim or making the basket.

Dribble: Participants will race while dribbling from baseline to baseline. Each participant will receive two attempts, with their fastest time counting toward their score.

Pass: Participants will take five passes at a wall target, earning points for hitting the target or bullseye.

The participant with the highest combined Shoot, Dribble and Pass score in each division will receive a winner’s certificate.

Equipment

Kindergarten–3rd Grade: 27.5-inch basketball and 8-foot hoop
4th–5th Grade: 28.5-inch basketball and 10-foot hoop

Registration

Advance online registration is encouraged to help us plan for the number of participants. Walk-up registration will also be available on the day of the event.
