
Small Town Showndown
The Small Town Showdown 3v3 Soccer Cup is a high-energy youth soccer tournament designed to inspire fun competition, maximize touches on the ball, and celebrate the game. The tournament directly supports local soccer programs in Crook County including: Crook County Middle & High School Soccer, Prineville Premier Soccer, and Crook County Parks & Recreation, helping grow the game for the next generation of athletes.

The 3v3 tournament format includes:

3 players on the field (no goalkeepers

25-minute games with short breaks

Minimum of 3 games per team

Pool play followed by playoff, championship, or consolation games

Multiple finals per division based on group placement

The divisions are:

Juniors: U6, U7, U8, U9, U10

Middle School: U11, U12, U13, U14

High School: U15, U16, U17, U18, U19

Important dates are:

Early Bird (Mar 1–Mar 25): $150 per team

Regular (Mar 25–Apr 25): $200 per team

Late (Apr 25–Apr 30): $250 per team

Key rules:

No goalkeepers

No offsides

No slide tackling or heading

Kick-ins instead of throw-ins

All dead ball kicks are indirect (except corners and penalties)

Mercy Rule: Game ends at 10-goal lead

Golden Goal overtime in playoff games

No player may touch ball inside the goal box

Roster size is 3-6 players

Players may only play on one team per division

Shin guards required

Teams provide their own game ball (size 3 for U6-8, size 4 for U9-12, size 5 for U13+)
